For any Harry Potter fan, Emma Watson is a name they adore. Hermoine Granger, the second lead of the series has certainly got the most attention because of her performance, charm, and aura. Watson was born in Paris to English parents in 1990. Later when they got divorced, Watson and her mother shifted to Oxfordshire. She was in the Dragon School of England and learned acting in the Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a branch of Oxford. While acting there, she auditioned for the upcoming Harry Potter series for the role of Hermoine Granger. After eight auditions, she was selected for the role alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Green.
There are very few stories like Watson’s life in a span of 10 years from 2001 to 2011, the Harry Potter series made her world’s one of the most valuable artists. The first film Philosopher’s Stone instantly became the record-breaking movie of the year and everybody noticed Watson separately. In the coming years, only “The Prisoner of Azkaban” (2004) couldn’t make much difference, the rest of the movies such as “Goblet of Fire” in 2005 or the “Half-Blood Prince” in 2009, set a bar for children’s’ cinema.
Magazines like The Daily Telegraph, The Washington Post, and many other reputed ones praised Watson heartily for her performance throughout the series. A surprising fact by Wikipedia said, she earned 19 Million Euros at her age of 19 and Watson confessed that she would never have to earn more money.
After the completion of the Harry Potter series, Emma started working on various small projects like “The Bling Ring”, “Noah” and “Beauty and the Beast”. Watson later worked as the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador where she promoted gender equality. Emma Watson is now a renowned actress and a popular activist.
