In 2019, we introduced our Senior Model Program. Our goal in creating this program was to not only have a fun group of high school seniors to photograph some really cool themed photoshoots but also to give high school seniors the opportunity to meet and interact with new people, outside of their own high school. At the end of the school year, our senior models walk away with lifelong friendships, amazing memories, along with unique and high-quality portraits and products. Senior Models must apply to qualify and also go through an extensive interview process. We are looking for seniors who are kind, outgoing, involved, flexible, as well as seniors who are interested in fashion, modeling, and being influencers and spokesmodels for Focal Point. We are so grateful to have had so many amazing seniors be a part of our Senior Model Program and are looking forward to meeting our next group! We could go on about how fun our Senior Model Program is, but listen to what our 2020 Senior Model team has to say about their experiences!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a senior rep team?
Traditionally, a senior rep program is a group of seniors that represent a certain photographer during their junior and senior year. They help to recruit their friends to book senior sessions through the photographer and in doing so, earn incentives and discounts. How is the Role Model Team different from a traditional senior rep program? The difference is that the mission behind the MEP Role Model Team is to positively impact your school and community by sharpening your leadership skills, building close-knit relationships, and serving as examples to younger high school and middle school girls. In addition to that, as a member of the team you’ll participate in exclusive photo shoot opportunities that are not available to the public. Think of this as the most fun and unique extracurricular activity you’ve ever done!
What do you receive as a member of the MEP Role Model Team?
As a team member you’ll have access to a TON of team exclusive perks, including:
-a fully styled group photoshoot that includes hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling
-opportunities for more shoots throughout the year
-tons of swag (AKA-gifts from me!)
–A $250 gift voucher that covers your own individual senior portrait experience complete with professional hair and makeup, wardrobe styling, 2-3 hours of photography at multiple locations, and $100 to use toward your portrait package
-For each booked referral you send my way, you’ll earn another $100 gift voucher to use toward your portrait package! But don’t worry, it’s not a requirement to send referrals.
Along the way, you’ll be honing your leadership skills, giving back to your community and school, forging lifelong friendships and having an unforgettable experience in this program!
What does it cost to be on the MyronEdwardsPhotography Role Model Team?
There is no fee required to submit an application. If selected as a member of the Role Model Team, your initial investment is $250, which you’ll receive back in the form of a gift voucher to use toward your own individual senior portrait experience and portrait package. Before joining the Role Model Team, I’ll meet with you and your parents to go over the program details and sign the contract, at which point your team investment will be collected. While referrals are not a requirement of team members, they do give you the opportunity to earn additional $100 gift vouchers for each booked referral. AND when your friends book their senior sessions, they’ll also receive a $50 gift voucher!
How are the team members chosen?
Role Model Team members will be chosen based on their answers to the essay questions on the application regarding their character, personality, and drive to make a difference.
Do I have to bring in referrals?
Absolutely not! The sole purpose of this program is not to bring in referrals but to set a positive example for others at your school, give back to your community, and be a part of something bigger your senior year. If you send in referrals you will absolutely be rewarded, but referrals are not a requirement of team members.
